What must be true before a public installer appears

  • A real Windows installer URL is configured in the production website environment.
  • The release version is published and matches the installer file users receive.
  • Checksum and signing status are available for the exact file, not copied from another build.
  • Release notes point to a real page or file that describes the current build.
  • Account sign-in and the API endpoint shown on this page match the production environment.
